Finally blogging:)

Well, its about time I joined the "new generation" of bloggers!  Being a teacher and all, I am awfully ashamed that many of my former students are waayyyy ahead of me in this area.  However, as I am new to this procedure, bear with me as I learn and possibly make many mistakes through the journey!  As of today, what exciting is happening in my life?  Well, my husband is home for the second day in a row because of "old man winter."  We have road closures, schools cancelled, snow squalls, white-out conditions, you name it we have it in the Georgian Bay area!  So....it is nice to have him home to play with Jads and to help me!  However, we were supposed to go to Toronto two days in a row now to travel to the Brazilian Embassy to get Scott's visa for his trip to Brazil in January:(  Jadon is happy to have us both at home and loves all the attention he is getting.  In 5 days we travel to Calgary for Christmas to visit all of my family in Alberta.  I am sooo excited about that but a little nervous about taking an 8 month old on a 4.5 hour plane ride...ugh!  Hopefully, he will sleep or play quietly (haha!).  Anyways, it will be fun to introduce him to all of his relatives and little cousins.  I believe that we have about eight boys and three girls ages five and under!  I don't think that we will all be together at one time but it should make for some fun memories:)  Anyways, that's enough for one snowy day and I will try to add pictures as I figure this thing out!
